Team Structure

 

Our team is structured as shown in the organogram below. The Team Leader does not have a name attached as each team member has been given the opportunity of being team leader for one quarter of the project. Reasons for this include:

 

  • Completion of Keirsey and Jung Typology tests categorised all team members as Guardians and ENTJ (Field Marshalls), indicating each individual has the correct
    mind set and personal attributes appropriate to undertake a leadership role.

  • To allow all members of the team gain an opportunity to take charge of the group, developing personal skills in leadership and organisation.

  • Providing four different leadership styles to the project.

  • The ability to assign the role to specific individuals of the team at particular phases of the project, based on the individual strengths of that member.

 

Each team member has a permanent project management role including roles of Project Planner, Risk Assessor, IT Consultant and Administrative Coordinator. Two technical task teams undertake the Simulation and PLC Programming roles in parallel under the instruction of the Team Leader. This ensures that tasks are distributed evenly.
