Technical Work Almost Complete

Into week 15 and the team pushed hard for progress in the technical work - this involved the final report, the Volvo Manufacturing Cell and the Methodology document.

At the start of the week all team members took time out of their individual tasks to review the first draft of the final report. Changes were made and the document was reviewed again at the end of the week. Although a few changes still have to be made before submission, the team are happy with the structure and content of the report.

On Wednesday the team had a telephone meeting with Andreas Jonsson at Volvo to discuss progress with the Volvo Manufacturing Cell. A lot of progress has been made since the team had last spoken to Andreas and the work shown represented this. Andreas provided guidance for the next steps of the project and what he expected by the end of next week. This was a really productive meeting and proved highly valuable for the team both in terms of work and motivation.

By the end of the week the Methodology document and associated report (Enabling Reliable Virtual Commissioning) were completed and compiled. This further pushed the technical work progress and the team saw the overall project progress jump 9% to 98%!

Again, this was really motivational for the team and leaves only the final report, mainly adminstrative tasks for next week as well as the final presentation at Chalmers for next week!
