Concluding Remarks
With the final project presentation taking place in the near future, the SPEAR team wish to express their thoughts and reflections on the experience as a whole:
Elizabeth: “What I have learnt from this project is that effective project management including both schedule and risk management leads to an efficient project. I have learnt to be more decisive and accommodating to changes which will help me both at University and in my future career.”
Russell: “I have understood that regular reflection as a group is key to maintaining motivation within a team. It acts as an opportunity to receive praise from other team members and/or constructively resolve any issues that may have arisen before they escalate.”
Ryan: “From this project I have learned the importance of project and time management. In particular I have realised the significance of contingency and risk management strategy for time sensitive deliverables.”
Jamie: “In completing this project I have developed my ability to adapt to new and challenging software packages. This is a strength I will take throughout my engineering career. In addition, I was able to experience the vast benefits of a thorough project management strategy.”
